Hello!

My name is Heather Howard. That's me on the left, along with my handsome husband and beautiful toddler, who are my entire world. We are newcomers to South Carolina, moving here to be closer to family in 2019 after Hurricane Michael destroyed our hometown in Florida. I grew up in Pennsylvania, got my bachelor's degree in Photojournalism in Texas, met my husband in Florida, and we are finally calling the Greenville area home, specifically Powdersville!

After 7 years as a newspaper photographer, I realized my passion lies in documenting the journey of families, especially newborns and the joy they bring as their family grows! My goal is to capture memories not just for moms and dads today, but memories that your baby can share with their own babies years down the road as their timeline unfolds.

It brings me so much joy to provide one tangible way for parents to express their love for their children. Your child's eyes will fill with wonder as they see their newborn pictures on your walls and imagine themselves ever being that tiny. "That's me!" they will squeal, flipping through the album of the chubby toddler covered in birthday cake frosting. Their hearts will soar as they touch and feel pictures of their parents snuggling them close, not remembering as it happened, but knowing mom and dad wanted to cherish every moment as they grew.

It is easy to forget that our family memories aren't just ours to share online, but also for our children to remember and enjoy as they grow! My daughter doesn't have social media, and the last thing I want is to fill my virtual walls with love for our family while leaving our physical walls empty.

That first year was all a blur for me as an exhausted new mom, and I'm so thankful I have photos to remember my newborn's first teeny tiny curls now that she has a head full of hair, and the way her tiny newborn toes curled as she peacefully slept now that she's running laps around the house! Photographs are the easiest way to freeze memories and instantly transport you back in time. Your baby will never change more rapidly than during their first year. I feel so privileged to offer a way to remember the dawn of your little one's life.

I can't wait to meet your family!

Heather
