This little princess wasn't as excited to meet me as I was to meet her! She was nice and comfy in mama's belly, and didn't decide to move out until 13 days after we were expecting her! And then, right before our session, I came down with bronchitis, so we had to delay her photo shoot even longer because I never want to risk the healthy or safety of any of my newborns.

But she was so worth the wait! Just look at that face! <3

I LOVE incorporating family heirlooms and personal items into newborn portraits. Here, Marina is snuggled next to a lamb that belonged to her maternal grandmother, who is looking down on her from heaven.

We of course brought big brother Cayden into as many photos as we could. He was such a trooper. He loves to hold her and sing "Jesus Loves Me." So sweet!
