Panama City Newborn Photographer | Shelby

Introducing Shelby Caroline! Isn't that the sweetest name for a baby girl?? Her mom and dad attend the same church as my husband and I, so we got to watch mama's belly grow over the months. I was so excited to finally meet her for her newborn photography session!

Shelby's mom and dad have beautiful flower gardens outside, so I asked if we could take a few photos with Miss Shelby surrounded by their petunias. It's definitely warm enough outside for outdoor newborn portraits. I LOVE this time of year!! I think Shelby had fun in the flowers too!

Back inside, we took photos in mom and dad's living room with my backdrop set up. How sweet is this baby girl?! I added the blue headband for a pop of color since mom loves bright colors.

I always try to include detail shots of those tiny little newborn features that change so quickly as they grow!

This family also has an AMAZING.... and I mean AMAZINGGGG flower bed full of zinnias!! We went out and picked several of them to include in photos with Miss Shelby. I love using fresh flowers in my newborn baby girl sessions! When she's older I am SO excited to capture photos of Shelby playing in her flower beds. <3

If you've followed me for a while, you know how much I love including sentimental family items into my newborn photography sessions, so I was ecstatic when mom and dad requested that I use mama's wedding dress in photos with their baby girl. They also brought out these red rose petals... the very same ones that decorated the aisle at their wedding! How special is that?!

We also captured newborn Shelby with mom and dad's wedding rings. Just look at that sweet little face! I think the one of the rings on her toes is a new favorite of mine as well- click to enlarge! (Check out this other session with a baby girl and her mama's wedding dress!)

My newborn photography sessions always include parent and sibling photos at no extra charge, if they are requested. Shelby is the first baby in her family, so we captured plenty of photos of her with mom and dad.
